The series was designed to showcase the beauty and richness
of Hawai'i through its music, language, and hula. In addition, Hawai'i's
arts and crafts play a part of the Pakele experience as well. What
makes the Pakele series very special is the fact that we are sharing
this with people around the globe via the live internet streaming
that takes place every Thursday night. We've had viewers as close
as the neighbor islands to as far reaching as Japan, London, Australia
and even those serving our nation in Iraq.
Special Notes:
Pakele Live! will be moving to a higher video resolution
in the upcoming weeks, doubling what we've been streaming at. This will
mean better video quality to match that of the audio, and will also
mean that viewers will need to check with their internet providers
to ensure they're on a highspeed connection of at least 1MB
or higher.
