The Pakele Live series is a partnership between the Willows Restaurant, the Pakele Foundation and LavaNet.
From Thursday, Mar. 17th through April 14th, the Pakele Live! Kōkua Japan Fundraiser series will be held at the Willows restaurant, streamed via the live web stream and recorded to be aired at a future date on Oceanic Channel OC16. We encourage everyone to come down and be a part of the concert series. We are working with the Hawai`i Chapter of the American Red Cross and 100% of all the donations and auction revenue will be donated to the Red Crossʻ Japan Relief.
The series was designed to showcase the beauty and richness of Hawai'i through its music, language, and hula. Hawai'i's arts and crafts play a part of the Pakele experience as well. What makes the Pakele series very special is the fact that we are sharing this with people around the world via the live internet streaming that takes place every Thursday night. We've had viewers as close as the neighbor islands and as far-reaching as Japan, London, Australia and even those serving our nation in Iraq.
